Migration Solutions has created operational processes and procedures for many organisations, large and small. There is no 'one size fits all' process or procedure for computer room and data centre operation and it is important that each process is appropriate for the facility. ITIL is more and more widely adopted as a framework for operation, but there are some aspects of data centre or computer room operation that it does not cover. Many Migration Solutions staff are ITIL qualified, but we recognise that there are processes that are required for data centre operation that are not covered within ITIL such as; inventory control, lone working, third party access, and many more.
Migration Solutions works closely with its clients to develop processes that are appropriate to the facility, are easy to follow and are not such an overhead that staff try to avoid following them. Good processes are generally welcomed by staff and it is these that Migration Solutions develops.
